Email PageVerified Carbon Standard approved methodology, developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), to guide estimates of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions and/or removals associated with the adoption of sustainable grassland management practices for grasslands in semi-arid regions and as a result, increasing soil organic carbon (SOC) content and reducing emissions of non-CO2 GHGs. Project activities include improving grazing animals pasture rotation, limiting the grazing of animals on degraded pastures, and restoration management of degraded lands.
