This report presents methodology for quantification of greenhouse gas emissions and fossil energy use of poultry products, including information on compiling and recording inventory data, life cycle assessment (LCA), and interpretation of LCA results. The goal is to provide a harmonized international approach to the assessment of the environmental performance of poultry supply chains.
